Open a bank account

You need a bank account in the name of the person receiving the Direct Payment. It can be a joint account. You could try and set up one with your current bank. If this is going to be difficult there are some companies who can offer managed bank accounts, please get in touch with us if you wish to explore this option. This process can sometimes take quite a long time so it is good to get on with this step as quickly as possible.
