We are looking for compassionate and reliable Personal Assistants (PAs) to support an elderly gentleman living with late-stage dementia, he is very easy going.

While his mobility has declined following a recent illness, he can still transfer and, on good days, walk with support. 

He requires assistance with all daily living activities, along with gentle prompting to eat and drink.

Hours

This is a flexible role with variable hours. We are seeking more than one PA to share support responsibilities. 

1. Morning: 8:00–9:00am (flexible)

2. Evening: 5:00–7:00pm (flexible)

3. Occasional overnight support

4. Occasional lunchtime visits

5. 24-hour mixed shifts to provide cover during family breaks

Duties shall include - Personal care, meal preparation and support with eating and drinking, light housekeeping, and providing companionship and reassurance.

Experience in care work, particularly supporting individuals with dementia, is preferred, along with a kind, patient, and caring attitude.

The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs is also essential.
